Mthr Sally Jones
Mother Sally Jones was ordained in 2011 and served in North Wales and
St Albans before joining St Mary Magdalene in November 2018.
She enjoys real ale, books and films.
She has a dog, Poppy, who enjoys running around Regent's Park.
The church of St Mary Magdalene was consecrated in 1852 with a mission to bring God into the communities within the Regent's Park Estate. We continue in that same mission to bring God to each new generation through worship, teaching and fellowship.
Our community is built on the understanding that God accepts us equally, irrespective of belief, social standing, race, age, gender or sexuality—and believing that God calls us equally to share that unconditional love with all people, without exception. That means, regardless of your walk of life, situation, or condition, you are welcome here.
We are an Anglo-Catholic church within the Church of England. We accept the ordination of women and are not afraid to use incense! The sacrament is reserved in the Lady Chapel for distribution to the sick and house bound, and for personal devotion.
The church is linked with Christ Church Primary School. We help support the Head and Staff with assemblies, collective worship, first communion and confirmation preparation and in the governance of the school. For more information about the school, visit their website.
